About John

John Vergo served in the Britsh Royal Navy for 16 years as an aircraft electrical technician, then, in 1988 left to join the super yacht industry in Palma Majorca. After cruising many thousands of miles as a Captain and Engineer on large vessels all over the globe he settled in Fort Lauderdale Florida. On all the yachts John had sailed on he constructed a Planned Maintenance System so he could organize and record all scheduled servicing that he carried out.

Over the years and using his experience in the Navy, John has developed a simple to use and highly effective computerized and a non-computer based Planned Maintenance Schedule for yachts of any size.

John’s system has been utilized on over 260 yachts and has proven itself time and time again in its effectiveness and ease of use.
